NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • A super-flexible meal prep cookbook featuring 125 healthy gluten-free, grain-free, and paleo recipes plus 15 weeks of menu plans, detailed meal prepping advice, grocery lists, and more—from the author of the Against All Grain series. Make It Easy presents fifteen weeks of menus, along with prep-ahead and make-ahead tips, shopping lists organized by grocery store departments, and proven methods for getting it all done quickly and effortlessly.
Because we all prep in different ways depending on the size of our families and the busyness of our lives, Danielle has identified six “prepper personas” and developed recipes for each type. Recipes such as Greek Lemon Chicken with Artichokes or Teriyaki Meatballs can be made in large quantities and frozen for later, while Fried Pineapple and Pork Rice or Meatballs Marsala with Mashed Roots use store-bought ingredients for no-fuss, quick meals. And Steak and Eggs Breakfast Tacos or Veggie and Shrimp Bowls are designed so components can be made ahead and then repurposed for other meals the same week.
Meal plans can be followed in any order and nearly every recipe is photographed. And with additional recipes for breakfasts, snacks, sides, and back-pocket dinners (dishes using pantry ingredients you already have!), this deliciously healthy cookbook provides everything you need to meal plan right.

Another healthy recipe book from Danielle!! This book is so helpful with meal plans already laid out & lots of great tips and tricks. Double your recipe and freeze. You'll have 2 weeks of freezer meals. That's so awesome! With facing many allergy and dietary challenges, this book provides easy alternatives to still enjoy favorite dishes that have wonderful taste such as Granny's spaghetti with meat sauce. The picky ones even ask for seconds. Once you purchase this book you'll find yourself purchasing the previous four as well.
Danielle Walker has outdone herself yet again! Her newest cookbook, Make It Easy, is an excellent guide to meal prepping and menu planning for those who are gluten-free. The recipes are not only creative and flavorful but also incredibly easy to follow. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted to ensure maximum taste while adhering to dietary needs. The ingredient lists are straightforward and the instructions are clear, making the cooking process enjoyable and stress-free. Not to mention the photography is gorgeous! This cookbook is absolutely a must-have for anyone looking to make delicious, health-conscious meals.
Danielle Walker never lets you down with her cookbooks and this one is no exception. I loved the layout of this book. Much easier to follow through all the different things that she offers in the cookbook. There's lots of information on how to prep via what might be your best style for prepping as well as how do prepping which is one of the main reasons I bought this cookbook. She provides a lot of information to read through which I greatly appreciate! One of the downsides of this cookbook for me was it uses a lot of shades which for some people with autoimmune disorders that's a no-no and she doesn't give options to change out the night shades. Hopefully she will do that in future publications. One of the positives in this book is that her recipes, while family size, can be split in half and frozen so that a single person can eat them later since one recipe really becomes "meal prepping" for a single person. In the future, if possible, I would like the ability have these "family size meals" with a full recipe as well as a half recipe because sometimes simply splitting her recipes in half doesn't always work exactly right. 🤔 Having said, that there were a lot of recipes that I could utilize and there were several fish recipes which I've been looking for and some new soup recipes which I am really excited about. Again, Danielle chose to use the hard book cover which I appreciate because her first book I have owned 3 to 4 copies of that book because it did not have the hard book cover. Not that I minded repurchasing that book multiple times! 😝 Beautifully done and chock full of recipes and information that a single person to a family person can utilize.
I was fortunate to receive an early copy of the book so have been cooking from it like crazy! The entire book is set up to help busy people meal prep and enjoy healthy meals at home. As an individual who avoids gluten and dairy for health reasons, Danielles new book takes away the guess work of modifying recipes for my dietary restrictions. The photos are beautiful and the descriptions and instructions are thorough! So far my family has loved the cream of mushroom soup, granny's spaghetti with meat sauce, and we are eager for fall weather to dive into all of the soup recipes. You'll not be disappointed if you purchase this cookbook!
Danielles Make It Easy is nothing short of a masterpiece! The thoughtful design, complete with meal plans, grocery lists, and cooking tips, makes it feel more like a guide to effortless, healthy eating. Every page feels like it’s crafted with such thoughtfulness and care, it really is a work of art, such a beautiful book! I couldn’t wait to receive it. One of the standout features is the way she simplifies meal prep, offering easy-to-follow steps that make cooking healthy at home so effortless. She really has thought of every kind of cook with this book. I’m blown away! The grocery lists are a game-changer, and the cooking strategies help even the busiest person feel like they can manage homemade meals. Not only are the recipes practical with simple ingredients, the food….. come on!! Wow. The Chicken Parm meatball skillet and Banana Pudding Parfaits have been my favorite, quick picks. One of the best parts of Danielle’s recipes… they don’t taste “healthy.” I can’t comprehend sometimes how some of the ingredients put together taste so delicious, it makes my heart happy to not feel like I’m missing out on “normal” food. I feed these meals to my family, some on repeat, and they’re so delicious. This book couldn’t have come at a better time for me, being burnt out of cooking, these recipes will be such a delight to adventure through. Danielles ability to make healthy eating accessible and enjoyable shines through in this book. Whether you’re a seasoned with cooking like this or just starting out, Make It Easy is an invaluable resource. Highly recommended for anyone looking to simplify their kitchen routine without compromising on flavor or quality. So thankful for all the time, effort, and pure heart she’s put into this book! The hardest part is deciding what’s for dinner tonight. 😊
I have every one of Danielle’s cookbooks, and I was lucky enough to win an early copy of Make It Easy. I’m currently eating leftovers of Cajun salmon with coconut lime cauliflower rice with pineapple salsa, which is in the new book. It’s delicious. And it sounds complicated, but I swear it was so easy!!! This book is what the paleo/gluten free community has been waiting for. Any cookbook I’ve ever read that has really easy recipes typically involve lots of processed food and ingredients that I can’t eat. This one does not. Not only are the recipes simple, Danielle even gives you a ton of short cuts for every single recipe! This is a fantastic resource, and I know I’m going to be making these recipes all. the. time.
