Great book for teaching piano lessons
It’s a great book for absolute beginners, some of the things it teaches could form slightly bad habits but by the end of the book it seeks to fix that. It’s a great book whether you want to learn alone or with a teacher
This book was one of many that I used when I started piano and one that I use today for my students. Primer being first or basic book., I recommend this highly. It starts where if you don't know about the keyboard, proper techniques, and at least three exercises for each lesson you are learning. Some people have said that the pictures are not appropriate for children. Every child I have taught laughed at the pictures; not sure who has said this.??!! Stick with it future piano players! Practice aspires you to play with prosperity!
Came undamaged, it is great for my kiddos in piano
Counting simple time signatures to difficult, cute little songs teaching fingering and intervals. Pictures - fun for kids. Thorough grounding in theory. Delighted with the book - Many of my young students have more of the series.
I teach high schoolers. Some of them have never had a piano lesson in their lives, so I start with this. It's kiddie, but it works! Not ideal for younger children, like 4-6 year olds. For that you want primer a and b.
Great for beginners.
My almost 4-year-old daughter recently started piano lessons. This is the same book her teacher uses so we decided to buy it. It is very easy to follow, even for a young child. The pictures and color keep her interest and she is very excited when we pull it out for her to practice.
