I’m about 1/3 of the way through and just had to say something. It’s interesting, practical and concise. Doesn’t claim to be the know all just gives the reader helpful, useable knowledge. As a healthcare professional I couldn’t be more happy with how this book is presented and how easy it is to open up and gain some useable knowledge each morning. Definitely recommend.
I picked up this book because I thought it would be similar to Maybe You Should Talk to Someone by Lori Gottleib, which is one of my favorites. It's similar, though much more detailed. The first chapters are very good, but I kind of got lost in the extremely detailed part about stress. Overall, it's a good book and has prompted me to seek more information about mental health. Definitely recommended!
I’ve been following the creator for a while on YouTube and I came across this book and has been very useful that they made they are a international creator and is so simple not so over complicated and complex like other ones out there I’ve had shadow work ones and those are complicated more so than this is a workbook as well well written very happy with the book arrived early this morning the book came overnight and have had a difficult time with mental health this is so useful hope they make more of them
I really liked reading this book, there was so many different topics for mental health and really had some good advice and journal prompts to do. Also i feel there is alot in this book that would be good to resort back to! Very positive and enjoyable to read! Recommend everyone take a read especially if your going through a healing journey or just need some good words of advice!
I've only read the first few chanters and already it has been worth it. It helped my reframe my thinking and adjust my actions in order to be more successful in life. Seriously, why don't they teach this stuff in school??? 😅
Not a revelation, but a decent pack of basic techniques and knowledge about mental health. Simple and effective, works and helps.
This book was helpful and understanding relationships are more important than money, fame or social status. That includes the relationship with yourself and respecting what you value which changes as you go through different decades of your life. Reviewing your values with your partner, can improve your closeness and satisfaction in your relationship. I really appreciated these ideas and will put them into action.
Love this book as a therapist I found myself echoing everything she said! It’s such an easy read! I literally tell my clients these things. I love how it’s all in a book ! Feels like a blueprint for life
