This is the book my son will learn from and is the one required by his school. It's comprehensive and the deluxe version has two CD's which most kids will find more interesting than the book alone as they can play along. Although I ended up playing professionally, my son wants to learn like all the other kids so I mostly stay out of it and watch from the sidelines. I don't want to spook him off from his learning be being one of "those" parents. This book is so well done, I am confident taking a back seat to my son's entry into the world of music.
this book really helps if you’re a beginner 😩🙌🤍
This item is cheaper in the store. I already know Saxophone, but it has been so long that I thought it would be nice to brush up. The only reason this is beneficial to me, is because I still have old sheet music. The music in the book isn't always recognizable to students, so it is nice to have an accompany. BUT IT WORKS AND WILL CONTINUE TO WORK. I used it 14 years ago, and I'm using it again. It is a great product.
This book is a nice book for beginner. A lot of information around the saxophone, a fingering chart for each note. It starts with easy exercises and slowly increases the difficulty of the task. All major and minor scales complete this book. Can recommend it.
My daughter is learning saxophone & this book was teacher's suggestion.
Has everything needed to get back into playing my alto! Love it!
Really good book
I bought this and several others from this series. I am a volunteer at a middle school band department and these are the ones used by the very knowledgeable band Director.
