This book honesty gives you more anxiety than anything else. It just takes general information on ways to cope and just made it into book form.
I already have anxiety period and this book helped me realize the things that I was doing that isn’t contribute to the health of my relationship. I feel seen. Lmao. I’ll get it together now
Book was a good summary of an overthinking disorder wrapped up in less than 2 hrs. (AN EASY READ). I like the examples used throughout the book. It gave insight into the problem with an anxiety disorder that can be a toxic poison in a relationship. I liked the recommendations about self awareness and identifying triggers to avoid toxic relationships.
Great read and tips To help better myself as a person for my relationship , would recommend it to a friend
I am an over-thinker. I am actively trying to change that about myself. There were specific examples in this book that made me think this was personally written for me. But no, I just fit the mold. The physical detriments to overthinking are eye opening. Some I knew some I didn’t. There is some repetition but maybe that’s purposely done to get the points across. The tips are helpful as are the examples. This really made me stop and pump, the brakes before self sabotaging myself yet again. Thank you to the author.
Overall, the book was ok. I have done a lot of self reflecting and reading to overcome my anxiety, and this book to me seemed very repetitive and did not provide me with information I did not already know. Also, this book mostly goes over when things go wrong in a relationship. With my situation, nothing has gone wrong, yet, it is my anxiety around being in a relationship that makes me fear some will eventually go wrong. This book would be a good fit for someone who is new to self help books/research and/or is in a relationship that is struggling.
The book had some good advice however it seemed to repeat itself through. Overall, not bad. I got a little bored.
I saw this book on Instagram and decided to check it out. It definitely has some key points that are very useful.
