best way to learn piano, exceptional
A big FYI for buyers of the Kindle edition. You do NOT get the CD/MP3 with it! This should be clearly labeled on the product description! One of the main points of the program is for the student to listen to the CD to mimic the style rendered in the recordings. By comparing their own to the recording, they can recognize their shortcomings and mistakes, and play each piece the way it's meant to be played. Well, you don't get that at all with the Kindle version. Fortunately, Amazon sells the MP3s of this volume on Amazon Music. So I was able to get my daughter to use her iPad to open the sheet music with the Kindle app, and use the Amazon Music app to listen to the recordings. What a pain! The combined cost of the eBook + MP3 is a small amount less than the physical version (with CD included), so I suppose I saved some money. ... and as I was just about to hit the Submit button for this review, I just realized it's 2018. Despite growing up with records, tapes, and CD's... I've somehow lost, given away, or thrown out all my CD players. None of my laptops even have CD players. There's no way for my daughter to even listen to the CD aside from popping it into the Xbox/PS, or me taking the time to boot up one of the old desktop computers and ripping them to MP3's then loading it up on her iPad. In hindsight, maybe it IS better to just buy the Kindle version and the MP3 album and save myself some headache. Either way, please consider this scenario before you commit to which version to buy.
