This book is great. My 9th grader doesn't know how to write in cursive. He never really learned in elementary school, covid happened, and now every single assignment/test/classwork is on his chromebook. It's been great for him to learn the letters and how to write in cursive again.
Very easy to navigate without assistance
Using this to teach my 2nd grader how to write in cursive. It has lots of practice in the individual letters before moving on to connecting them, which is working well for us. Generous size spacing too, which is great for getting his hands used to it.
The book was wonderful for a child beginning cursive handwriting.
I am a "pen pal" with a nine-year-old girl who wants to learn cursive writing. I think this workbook is a great tool. I sent it to her a few days ago. When she feels comfortable writing very, very short notes using cursive, she will write her notes to me in cursive. I photocopied the practice pages and I will reply to her notes using the same rules and techniques she will be following. I am anxious to see how this relationship will work out for her. (I have discovered that writing a note using cursive practice sheets is kinda hard work!)
My granddaughter wants to learn cursive and asked for the book. She loves it
Helpful book to teach home school students how to practice cursive writing. Love the layout of the book. I bought this as a gift to a friend who children need to learn cursive.
I recently purchased a cursive handwriting workbook for my 7-year-old, and it has been an absolute game-changer. With schools no longer prioritizing cursive handwriting, I wanted to ensure my child could still learn this valuable skill. This workbook has exceeded all my expectations! Firstly, the workbook is incredibly well-organized. It starts with the basics, such as individual letter formation, and gradually progresses to connecting letters and writing full words and sentences. Each page is thoughtfully designed to provide ample practice space, clear instructions, and helpful tips. My child has found the workbook engaging and enjoyable. The fun exercises, coupled with colorful illustrations, keep them motivated and eager to learn. The progression is smooth, ensuring that they build confidence with each step. One of the standout features is the inclusion of tracing exercises followed by freehand practice. This method reinforces muscle memory and helps develop a consistent and legible cursive style. Additionally, the workbook includes practice sheets for writing common words and short sentences, making it practical and relevant to everyday use. I've noticed a significant improvement in my child's handwriting since we started using this workbook. Their letters are more fluid and aesthetically pleasing, and they have developed a genuine interest in cursive writing. It's heartening to see them take pride in their newfound skill. In conclusion, this cursive handwriting workbook has been an invaluable resource for my 7-year-old. It bridges the gap left by schools no longer teaching cursive and provides a comprehensive, enjoyable, and effective way for kids to learn. I highly recommend it to any parent looking to help their child master cursive handwriting.
