The book is from former Carter aide David Rubenstein who interviews leading presidential scholars, authors, even the Clinton's, George W Bush, Donald Trump and Joe Biden as they discuss certain presidents experiences in their upbringings and careers. For whatever reason the Clinton's chapter has them discussing George Washington but its really just a joint interview. Not every president is here of course, the most notable omission being Ronald Reagan but maybe Rubenstein couldn't secure an interview. Still, its a unique look at the American presidency.
