After reading Dr. Casey Means ‘Good Energy’, I was excited to find and order this book on Amazon. Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations for several reasons. 1. It states on the cover there is a ‘120 Day Meal Plan’. There is a 4 week plan at the end of the book which I would calculate to be 28 days. Even if you add the ‘14 Day Detox Program’, that only adds up to 42 days. 2. The back cover states there are ‘Weekly Shopping Lists’. There are five pages of basic foods categorized to have on hand. It does not detail what is needed for the weekly meal plans. 3. Many of the recipes include grains, which Dr. Casey advises against including in your diet. 4. The sheer quality of the book … it is as thin as a magazine and the paper reminds me of newsprint. I really wanted to love this book. Unfortunately it was a miss for me and I am returning.
