I was nervous to order this book because of all of the reviews saying that theirs came in damaged. However, we live in Europe and this book came in a plastic seal with very little to no damage. There is just a little bit of scuffing on the corners, but nothing I wouldn’t have done myself with actually using the book so it’s fine for me. The cover, binding and back are perfect. If you’re debating on ordering it, I would take a chance because mine came out great and again it shipped all the way to Europe. Happy to add it to the collection and can’t wait to start trying recipes!
Lots of awesome recipes, however one of the pages were stained. And the back of the book has a couple of scuffs/marks. Bought what i thought was brand new.
These cookbooks have so many recipes, a lot of recipes with illustrations . The quality of the books are outstanding! Each of the cookbooks are approx 350-380 pages! Beautiful books and I’m so happy I ordered them!!
All 3 of these Magnolia Kitchen cookbooks are just phenomenal! The recipes are easy to make, with ingredients that you can buy at any regular grocery store and are delicious! Every one I have made so far has been a hit with my family!! Not sure which volumes they are each in, but so far the braided bread loaf, the Sunday pot roast, the lemon blueberry rolls (oh my) are ones I will make many more times, I’m sure! The books are well made hardcovers with beautiful pictures beside each recipe. These have become a valuable part of my cookbook collection!
So far have made the Pho, Peanut Butter Pie and Dr. Pepper BBQ. All turned out excellent and were easy to prepare. We love Pho but had no idea how it was made. This recipe tastes like any of the best that we can buy at a restaurant.
It's beautiful! And full of interesting and flavorful recipes. Also most can be made with ingredients already in my cupboard.
Beautiful book. We. written.
I'm not much of a cook. But I've watched Jo make her recipes on TV, so when she said the recipe was in her third book, I thought I could do this. I'm glad I got it. These are recipes for family meals and snacks. Real food, not the fancy stuff. The pages are very cleanly laid out. These is a clear list of ingredients and simple instructions. My life is hectic -- I need 'simple' as much as possible. This is the cookbook I needed. And it has beautiful photos and that calming dark green. This is a keepsake.
