I love the book.
Damn I'm dead hahaha
I never received this
I had purchased this for same day delivery and it never came in I waited to days to see if it would come in but unfortunately it didn’t I will not give the book a bad review because I’ve had this before and it’s a very nice replica with extra blank pages that unfortunately got lost it in a house fire and I was trying to replace it, but I am disappointed because I was looking forward to get it. I received my refund 2 days after canceling the delivery.
It's a fun book but don't expect it to be put together perfectly.
Beetlejuice, beetlejuice, beet........
If you love the Beetlejuice movie and are looking for a souvenir from the movie look no further. This book is perfect. Unlike other similar books where just a few pages are written or the cover is just a sleave this book has it all. From front to back and inside out it is a perfect replica of the book used in the movie. I bought with the intentions of having it signed at a convention and I'm so glad I did. With a decent price point and its accuracy I highly recommend it to anyone looking to add it to their collection.
Cute and Fun
I purchased this as a gift for my daughters birthday. She asked for the book from the movie and after hours of searching I finally found this book. She will absolutely love it!
It reads like stereo instructions
I think it's great to have. I am a little disappointed though. Most of the reviews I read before buying made it sound like I would be reading a handbook for the recently deceased like they did in the movie. Like I thought for sure I would be reading things like draw a door on the wall and knock three times. However it reads like this "remember the scene where the Maitlands draw a door in the air and knock three times to access their caseworker?" Anyone who remembers the movie knows they drew that door on the wall not in the air. Another quote from the book is this "picture Juno from Beetlejuice, the chain smoking stern yet well intentioned afterlife caseworker assigned to guide the Maitlands through their deathly journey. Like her, your caseworker comes equipped with the wisdom of the ages and the experience of guiding countless souls through their afterlife voyage." So it's not exactly what I expected it to be. I however am not saying it's bad. There are parts of the book that explain how to master levitation, embracing the void, weightless will, practicing the float and things like that. Just don't expect that you're getting a book like the Maitlands did in the movie. It is still really cool and if you are a fan of the movie it's worth the purchase. I've added a few photos of the book so you can see for yourself what it's like so you know if you want to buy it or not.
