A “must” for the serious student of Russell science and philosophy, The Universal One is Walter Russell’s first expression of his new Cosmology explaining the Mind-centered electromagnetic universe. Russell later revised some of the content of The Universal One in The Secret of Light and A New Concept of the Universe. Students of the Russell science should be aware of the historic sequence of Walter Russell’s books of science, and note the various changes in details which Walter Russell himself made.
Nikola Tesla told Walter Russell to lock his cosmology in a sepulcher for a thousand years because mankind was not ready for it . Though a century or more ahead of its time, The Universal One, uniting spiritual Cause and scientifically observable Effect in a seamless whole, is now appealing to the many people—scientists and laymen alike—who are examining the nature of science and consciousness. In this 1926 historic volume, Walter Russell first reveals the possibility of transmutation of the elements.
This is a universe of Mind, a finite universe, limited as to cause, and to the effect of cause. A finite universe, in which the effects of cause are limited, must also be limited as to cause; so when that measurable cause is known, then can man comprehend and measure all effects. The effects of cause are complex and mystify man, but cause itself is simple.
The universe is a multiplicity of changing effects of but One unchanging cause. All things are universal. Nothing is which is not universal.
Nothing is of itself alone. Man and Mind and all creating things are universal. No man can say: ‘I alone am I.’ There is but One universe, One Mind, One force, One substance.
When man knows this in measurable exactness then will he have no limitations within those which are universal.” — Walter Russell, from The Prelude to The Universal One. Part I: Creation; The Life Principle; Mind, The One Universal Substance; Thinking Mind; The Process of Thinking; Thinking Registered in Matter; Concerning Appearances; The Sex Principle; Sex Opposites of Light; The Reproductive Principle; Energy Transmission; A Finite Universe; A Dimensionless Universe; Concerning Dimension; The Formula of Locked Potentials; Universal Oneness; Omnipresence; Omnipotence; Omniscience. Part II: Dynamics of Mind & Light Units of Matter; Electricity and Magnetism; New Concepts of Electricity and Magnetism; Electricity; The Elements of Matter; The Octave Cycle of the Elements of Matter; The Instability and the Illusion of Stability of Matter; The Universal Pulse; Concerning Energy; Electro-Magnetic Pressure; Attraction and Repulsion; Gravitation and Radiation; Expressions of Gravitation and Radiation – Universal Direction; Universal Mathematics & Ratios; Charging & Discharging Poles; The Wave; Time; Temperature; Color; Universal Mechanics; Rotation; Revolution; Crystallization; Plane and Ecliptic; Ionization; Valence; Tone; Conclusion; New Laws and Principles.

I bought this book for my partner (artist & philosopher) as a gift. The illustrations are clear and interesting, and I am sure he will enjoy this work. I wish the quality of the paper (pages) was a little better, and the cover does show fingerprints readily. There are more costly versions available, so for the price, it’s completely acceptable 👍
If you are interested in this book, read Spinoza's Ethics, as well. I would also recommend Meister Eckhart, Thomas Traherne, Ludwig Wittgenstein (especially), and you're bound to find more. Russell's view, while based in the physical, and while physically true, is best and most easily understand in the accompanying philosophical context, that all things come from one, singular source. Hence "The Universal One", eh? What a beautiful book! Regardless of what amount you understand, this book is a pleasure to hold and leaf through. The illustrations are superb and you really feel like you are holding something secret and powerful. Language is always an issue, understanding the meaning behind words, but Walter Russell knows what he is talking about, and he sees a crucial part of our underlying reality. Can you understand this perspective by reading the book? I don't know. Will you appreciate the book magnitudes more if you do understand his highly accurate perspective? Undoubtedly. The Physics community is still shuffling around getting nowhere because they aren't viewing the fundamentals correctly. All the math is the same; it's the perspective that's different, but do they by golly need the correct perspective to get much farther than they are now. Time will tell.
High vibrational book. Very enlightening. For those on the mystic path this is a great book for you to help you on your spiritual journey.
It's always good to be open to knowledge. This book will open your mind to a new way of thinking.
So.. this whole experience was wonderful. The book came well packaged and shrink wrapped. It has a great weight to it. I love well weighted, balanced, sturdy books. The paper smells like a good book always does. It's big. It makes me feel like the boy in never ending story reading of Fantasia 😌. There's more to it tho. Something else comes with the book. A feeling. A kind of wonder or reverence that's somewhat unattainable in dicription. They send you a note as if almost from Lao herself to you that, in all honesty, brought tears to mine and my wife's eyes. This book marries religion, philosophy, science, skepticism, and love all into one story of a universal One. I am a student of the One or the Law of One and this is kind of a scientific understanding of a philosophy that goes back to the dawn of man. If you seek God and do not look within, then you are always going to be separated from the Oneness that that is and that all things are. The knowledge that this book brings is for all peoples. It has and will again be scolded for being this and that but if you seek wisdom this book has some. If you seek clarity of thought and of knowledge and of power, real power, then this book will show the way to these awesome abilities. "Man is omnipotent when he but knows his omnipotence. Until that day he is but man." When Christ said that he was the light of the world, he was being literal but more than that he was being inclusive, not exclusive. Those that love only the Bible and claim its validity above all else will probably disagree with this outlook with veracity however, I still want to say that we have been lied to about a great deal and the greatest of those lies was that we are each powerless and that the only power that exists is outside of us, and this book illustrates with conclusive results that we are each capable of the self knowledge that would make each of us, too, a Christ or adept or ascended being or whatever you wanna call it. We are all here for this realization and no other. With love, buy and read this book. The seller is aware of the power that is inlaid on these pages and if you seek the kingdom of heaven, you need only look inside your chest. Be Well 😌
In my life watching nature, I’ve noticed some things and formulated theories which I figured had to be discussed somewhere. I had little luck with organized religions and philosophies , but this book speaks directly of things. This is a very important book and, if you made it this far, buy it. It may be exactly what you’re looking for. I did want to mention this book is quite physically large. This makes it great for studying but not so great for reading on the go. If you understand the contents of this book, you will also likely understand why the cover art was chosen..
