In the decades since the initial publication of The Way of the Superior Man , society has changed significantly. Excellent book for men
The title says it all. This book changed my life. I’m in my mid to late 20’s. I often found myself lost and longing for the woman of my dreams. I finally found her and knew I needed to change my way of thinking for myself and the future of our relationship. I can’t explain how spot on this book was for me and how I was making decisions in my life. Don’t be skeptical. Buy it, read it, change. It’s worth it. It’s the guide I knew I needed. I didn’t think I’d find it in this book but I did. LIFE CHANGING.
It's not as rhe cover makes,it. Men especially young men get now and get yourself ready for, what's ahead.
The Way of the Superior Man is an in-depth look at many challenges men face on a daily basis--keeping a woman happy , finding fulfillment and purpose in a career, becoming a master lover--and how to solve these challenges. It is a practical book that acts more as a reference manual based on subject, not a formal story or novel. Fifty-one chapters make seem like a lot for a book fewer than 200 pages, but each has very meaningful information. Dieda challenges men to "...evolve beyond the macho jerk ideal, all spine and no heart" and "...beyond the sensitive and caring wimp ideal, all heart and no spine." His offer for men is to unite the heart and spine to become `The Superior Man'. There are two main themes Dieda bases the majority of his book on. First is the literal polarity and pull between the masculine and feminine poles. Like opposite end of a magnet, men have dominant poles and women are feminine poles, these traits will attract one another. When polarity is lost between a man and women, sexual desire and the relationship itself can easily cease. Second is the idea that all men have a purpose in life which must be discovered and followed. Purpose is the core of a man's life and he must never give up whatever his purpose is. These ideas are visited many times throughout the book as principals a masculine man should be aware of and follow. This was one of the most interesting books I have ever read. Deida's has a unique writing style, using carefully chosen words and phrases very bluntly. I enjoyed his writing style although it could easily offend others. His audience is geared toward men who need advice spoken in plain English with a `hit-to-the-head-with-a-club' style. He does a fantastic job at portraying real life examples that men face with women and work, and offers simple solutions. Pros of this book are the easy-to-read style and real world examples to relate to. Cons are the book itself does not cover all topics you need to be successful with work and women, it's not that comprehensive. However, I would recommend this book to any man who is willing to take the challenge increasing their masculinity and becoming a `Superior man with spine and heart'.
this might change your life on the views of masculinity and femininity...even mentions nofap and refers semen as "life energy". I already was on the semen retention path but this books confirms its power. this is a handbook for men and it will level up your life. it opened my eyes to how I treat my wife and it's very true to the happy interactions vs the frustrated interactions. you will have better relationships with women after you read this and you will have a better approach. definitely recommend.
This book is a good read. It helps you look at the mindset of women and how to deal with them on their level, but most importantly, putting yourself first as a man.
A lot of useful and relevant information in this book. I recommend
One of the most impactful aspects of the book is its emphasis on the balance between masculine and feminine energies. Deida eloquently discusses how these forces interact in relationships, work, and personal growth. His insights on how to channel your masculine energy in a way that is both powerful and compassionate are eye-opening. The advice goes beyond surface-level tips and delves into the deeper aspects of consciousness and spirituality. The writing style is straightforward but poetic, making complex ideas accessible. Deida’s guidance on embracing challenges, understanding your true purpose, and engaging with the world from a place of strength is both inspiring and practical. This isn’t just a book about being a “better man” in the traditional sense—it’s about understanding and mastering yourself to contribute more meaningfully to the world around you. Some readers may find certain ideas a bit esoteric or unconventional, but that’s part of what makes this book so unique. It’s not just about self-improvement; it’s about self-discovery on a deeper level. Whether you’re looking to improve your relationships, find your purpose, or simply understand yourself better, The Way of the Superior Man offers timeless wisdom that can benefit men of all ages. This book is a must-read for anyone on a journey to becoming the best version of themselves, not just as a man, but as a human being. Highly recommended!
