The #1 New York Times bestseller―a gift book for parents that will have them laughing even as they cry. One of Reader's Digest' s "25 Funniest Books of All Time" "Nothing has driven home a certain truth about my generation, which is approaching the apex of its childbearing years, quite like this." ― New Yorker "A parenting zeitgeist" ― Washington Post "A hilarious take on that age-old problem: getting the beloved child to go to sleep." ―National Public Radio "A new Bible for weary parents" ― New York Times "Resonates powerfully with almost everyone" ― Boston Globe Go the Fuck to Sleep is a bedtime book for parents who live in the real world, where a few snoozing kitties and cutesy rhymes don't always send a toddler sailing blissfully off to dreamland. This book is for moms not getting enough sleep and feeling frustrated with life. It's sarcasm that breaks the stress of taking care of younger kids
HILARIOUS! Put my baby right to sleep. I will be reading to him again. The parenting part is very relatable haha!
Parents, in the know, will totally recognize the trials children will put you through. New parents will enjoy as well.
This is probably not a book you want to read your children as they get older and understand language a bit more because the title of the book is constantly repeated throughout. However, everytime my wife or I read this to our baby we die with laughter even though we know what it is going to say. If you are looking for a hilarious book while your baby is young enough not to really understand it - this is the one to get! It is funny not only for the title of the book repeated several times throughout but all the little ways parents get upset with their child when trying to lay them to sleep. This is a must get!!
Sometimes you find a gift that is appreciated more than anything else and it just happens to be the cheapest gift. This is that gift.
Great for a laugh for new parents
This book is too funny. I got for my daughter's shower. After reading it I can really relate after raising 4 of my own.
Great baby shower gift. The parents loved it. Lots of laughs. Will be purchasing other books from the collection.
