This book has been wonderful. It breaks down a lot of things. I really feel like this is a good start outside of the original. Holy Bible add this to your collection. Cross referencing is really good.

This is a review for "The Women's Study Bible" New King James Version, cloth over board, pink floral edition. The ISBN of the Bible in this review is as follows: 978-0-7180-8683-1 I cannot say enough good things about this Bible. The craftsmanship is good and the study content is great as well. This is not only one of the best study bibles for women that I have read, but it is among the best study bibles I have read regardless of being aimed at one particular gender or another. If you're a man reading this, please don't shy away from this Bible as I feel it could nevertheless be insightful for you and could work toward improving your relationship with the women in your life, or in just giving you some wisdom and hermeneutics from a more feminine perspective which may prove very refreshing and/or interesting for you indeed. Of note, this Bible, in my opinion, is a bit more conservative-leaning with its study material. Of course, what constitutes conservative or liberal is relative and depends on where one lives, how they were raised, one's general worldview and things of that nature, but coming from an American I'd say the content of this Bible leans a bit more toward the conservative end of the spectrum. However, I am pretty liberal with my worldview and theology and still thoroughly enjoy studying with this Bible and its material has deepened my understanding of scripture. I mention all that because whether a study bible's material is more conservative or liberal leaning is important to some, but in the end I humbly believe this Bible would be great in the hands of anyone regardless of such interpretations of scripture. The quality of the Bible is really nice. It is a durable sewn binding so the Bible lies flat and should hold up even after many years of use. I love the denim feel of the cloth over board cover and the printing quality on the cover and throughout the Bible is excellent. The gilding is a beautiful shiny light pink color, but it is delicate so be careful not to scratch it if you want to keep it looking good for as long as possible. The pages are thin as you would expect in a Bible, but they are not so thin as to crease or wrinkle as easily as the pages of some Bibles tend to do. A word of caution, however. The cloth over board cover is dominated by white and light pink artwork so if you want to keep it clean you should make sure your hands are clean before handling it and be careful sitting it on dirty surfaces. The cover WILL readily pick up any makeup, grime, or whatever else is on your hands or the surface on which you sit the book. Also, another warning, the pages that introduce each book of the Bible were stuck together when I first got my Bible out of the box. It was a bit tedious separating all the stuck pages and I caution you to be careful while doing so. Even if you are rough with this Bible it seems like it is built like a tank and should still hold up if you want to throw it in a suitcase for traveling, give it to a youngster, or anyone who tends to be a bit rough on their books. This Bible is just such an awesome resource and I am really happy to have it added to my growing library. I highly recommend you pick this Bible up if you are in search of a study resource that is not only beautiful with regard to aesthetics but study content as well. I bought this bible for myself but if you are looking to gift this Bible to a women or yourself just go ahead and add to cart. I wish there was a Bible like this for my husband. It's beautiful. Easy to read. Easy to understand. I love this Bible I just wish I had found and brought it sooner. I will buy as a gift for my girl friends.

In color, detailed notes, great study bible

I recently got this Bible because I had just the New Testament and wanted to read more about the Old Testament. The notes in it are so helpful, I love this Bible, it’s easy to read and gives you insight where you may not know it. I encourage everyone to read different bibles, but this is a good one wether you’re just getting started or wether you just want more notes and learn more. You got this, keep moving forward and God’s got you❤️

This is among my most prized possessions.i do not have the space for all the magnificence of this precious Bible. The paraphrase is wonderful and it has the regular King James Version along with many many priceless pieces of information. Over 2,000 pages and well worth any price. But the price is phenomenal. I am sooo excited every time I pick this up because I know I will be blessed. The words cater to any level of understanding. My sister loves hers too. I can’t say enough. If you want please buy it…I promise you will love love love it!

I am a collector of Bibles, sort of. I have about 12 right now, but didn't own a NKJV or a study bible. Initially I ordered the hardback version and was really disappointed that it had the big "label" looking thing on the front (just like on the dustjacket and was like a textbook) so I sent it back and ordered this one. It was a few bucks more, but I'm so glad I made the switch! This bible is just gorgeous! The fabric cover is so pretty with perfect stitching. The pages are a really nice thickness with easy to read print (and I'm over 60 with not the best eyesight). The information at the beginning of each book re: dates, audience, outline, etc is wonderful. Not a big fan of the little devotional stuff slipped in, but it's not a deal breaker. I bought beautiful matching tabs sold by Shepherd of Life on Amazon as well (go check them out - well worth the price). This is my favorite Bible of the 12 I currently own. This bible was a great purchase.
