I've always wanted to have him read to me and with this audio book I have that pleasure. The sound of his voice with the words of the New Testament is truly a time for meditation and reflection.

I knew this was good, heard it from another source and that’s why I bought my own. Destress with this. The word of God dearly touches you. I feel good inside. James Earl Jones voice makes you enjoy listening in peace. Buy it buy it buy it!!!!!
I love his voice
I love his voice! This is such a great reading of the KJV. Also, I know some people were writing that the inserts sound loud and different but what do you expect, the man to read the whole chapter- out loud- without any mistakes. That's impossible. It really is awesome to listen to in the car. 5 stars all the way!!!! Oh and I also like the container that it comes in as my discs will not get damaged.
Only New Testament - good quality but read the fine print!
Thought I was getting the whole Bible - print size of the title is misleading. But the quality of the product and the price are still excellent. If I had known I was only getting the New Testament - I would have bought it anyhow.

I love to listen to his voice and is also helping to know a lot more then I did. I try to read, but I get tired right away and don't learn anything that way. This you will because you can understand what he is telling you and is the perfect thing to listen to then most of the junk out there on CD's. Thanks

This is a Christmas present for my mother who is 92 years young. She will be able to listen to the Bible being read to her by a male role model whose voice is both demanding and soothing at the same time. We have not opened and listened to it yet. It is a Christmas present to be opened on December 25th. The price was very affordable. Thank you.
A wonderful reading of the New Testament
This is an excellent reading of the New Testament by the incomparable James Earl Jones. Note that it is just that, a reading, and not in any way a dramatization. Excellent for reading along with, or for those who remember better when they hear something as opposed to simply reading it. As others have mentioned the dubbing in of his voice in spots was amateurish on the part of editors, but did not negatively impact my overall opinion of the reading itself. As we all know Jones' voice is powerful, articulate, and soothing, and is a delight to listen to. If you're looking for a no-frills presentation of the KJV-NT then I highly recommend this version.
