Okay, at first I was hesitant to order this Bible because of the comments about the binding being cheap, but I decided to just go ahead and order it anyway!!! I really love the artwork because it has like an oil pastels vibe. The stories portrayed are more aligned to the Bible than The Action Bible, and The Action Bible is very accurate!!! Needless to say I was flabbergasted when I saw Leviticus 16 in this children’s Bible. I’m a big Jimmy Swaggart fan, and I sent this to his four year old great-granddaughter. So, I feel happy to know that she’s being read stories from this particular Bible, because it obviously covers stories most children’s Bibles don’t. Also, as a young black woman, I definitely love the fact that some of the characters (bad AND good) are the same color as me!!! I would definitely give this to my niece if she were being raised in a Christian household. I’ve been reading this Bible for three hours straight and I’m already past page 200!!! That says a LOT coming from me!!!! I bet I’ll finish it tomorrow and I’ll probably just start right back over because this Bible is awesome 👏🏾!!! Now I see why it has more reviews than the latest Action Bible!!!

Each story is a page long with beautiful illustrations. It is just long enough to capture the attention and interest of the kids in my Sunday school class. The Children's Bible does a good job of summarizing several books and passages together to give the idea of the lesson. I'm glad I got it and will recommend to others with young children/grandchildren.

This bible is great for children as the stories are great and not too long so they stay interested in the story. The stories are very well written for young children to relate to. I would recommend it to anyone that loves to read a great story.

The illustrations are beautiful and realistic. For about 2 hours I read to 2 granddaughters and one of their friends the story that went with the illustration they picked out. They were 7- and 9-year-olds. Each story is 2 pages. Often I would say, “Well, before we read this one we need to start back here.” I would then read the previous stories about the same character. Often in Sunday School curriculums one isolated story is told about a different Bible character each week. The stories in this Bible stand alone, but it was nice to be able to give more of an overview and a fuller account of the Bible character. I was amazed at how interested and sustained the girls’ interest was. There was a section on Ezekiel, the Psalms, portions that I had never seen for children. One year I caught a sale and was able to provide one for each family in a Christian preschool where I was telling weekly Bible stories. I was very excited! I also gave it to a friend of mine for the children in her life. Her husband picked it up and read it. He was not a reader.

Excellent story bible for children and the illustrations are incredibly beautiful, helping them visualize the story and letting their minds run wild. Even I love the illustrations! my grand children love this Bible story book!

I bought this Bible for my 9 year old niece. The pictures are so pretty and really help with understanding the scripture. My niece is able to read this on her own! This Bible does a great job at being biblical while also keeping the chapters of the Bible very simple!

It’s a great bible for children to read. Or you reading it to them too. It shows them colorful great pictures of the stories in there too.

Most bibles for kids which we have read are either poorly written, have amateurish illustrations, or skip over many of the lesser-known books of the Old Testament. This is an excellent version for kids. We are still reading or grandsons the Old Testament and he is enthralled with the stories. The illustrations are by far the best we have come across and the text is pretty faithful to an adult Bible. In fact, I think many adults can learn from this child's version as we have. Highly recommend. Good way to give your children and grandchildren an understanding of the most important book in the western world.
