I read this book within a few days when I finally started reading it (it sat in my borrowed list for a while). It was good enough to keep me on my toes but I don't think I will continue the series. I enjoyed the story and how their relationship developed, though it's not one I would rave about or read again. The main fmc fell too fast in my opinion. The way she reacted when she found out the truth about the mmc and how he arranged the marriage was extremely unrealistic. Idk, I expected more from her as far as emotions and reactions go. The whole story felt sort of rushed to me.

I loved the rule breaker series since I discovered RN5. When I heard this book and story was in the works, I was so excited! I love how she broke out of her comfort zone to write it. SHE NAILED IT IF I DO SAY SO MYSELF!! Be prepared to throw on those rose colored glasses for Damon. I sure did! That man is tall, dark, delicious, and OBSESSED with Misty! The things he does for her🥹 *swoon* I am so excited to read the rest of the boy’s stories! They are all hilarious when they get together and we’re protective over Misty (“their sister”). If Wilder writes it, I’m going to binge every ounce of it. If wilder writes it, I’m going to recommend it to every person I know. If Wilder writes it, I’m going to own multiple copies of it

Damon is unapologetically unhinged when it comes to Misty and if you love an obsessed yet protective alpha, come meet your new book boyfriend. This is no vanilla fairytale; it is a dark romance that is gritty, at times graphic, and yet it all works together to be dark but not too far gone for me. Misty and Damon’s dark but authentic connection is addictive. After a scene where there are consequences for Misty’s actions, I felt like I needed a drink. ⁣ Wilder is thorough in her storytelling and takes you on a journey with Misty and Damon. I appreciated how the storyline kept things moving and you really get to spend some time in their world. This was my first book by Wilder and I really enjoyed it. I look forward to Matthias’ story and hope we get to read each of the Everette brothers’ stories. ⁣

Gah, I LOVED this book and was not ready for it to end. I feel like we need so much more Damon and Misty, I can’t get enough! I loved that there wasn’t the major third act fall out in the love story that is too predictable, the flow of this book was perfect for me. I ate up their journey, I just want more of their life! I’m highly anticipating the rest of the books in the series and hope all four brothers get their moment to shine!

Not a book I would read again… it has the power to be awesome but fail to do it. It’s just entertaining. I did like the brotherhood of the Everettes

I just re-read this in preparation for the next in the series, and I have to say it was just as good the second time. It checks so many of my boxes! It’s well written and the characters were fun. Heroine had strength and sass without being utterly ridiculous. Alphahole MMC nailed the touch her & die and the stalker tropes without being off putting. Marriage of convenience and forced proximity reasons were a clever twist on the usual. Had an actual plot with conflict, and you can see how Wilder could expand the universe. Dark but not enough to question my humanity for enjoying it. Would definitely recommend and am waiting for midnight to get here so I can read Matthias’s story. *also, this is just a me thing, but all the characters have relatively normal names. I have not read books because the characters had such ridiculous names. Editing and proofreading were both good, and I didn’t notice any major grammatical issues.

I was quite excited to read it cause i read in some other book a sneak peak of this one and i was very intrigued. The second it came out i read it and since then i think it was the best choice i ever made! I didn't expect to like it that much but i did a lot!!! I loved the morally gray main male character and i loved the main female character as well. Tho, i think i knew more about Damon's life than Misty's and that bothered me a little. It has a lit of trigger warnings so be prepared... I didn't like that the author made it like Damon was obsessed with Misty but in the end she was kinda boring and didn't do anything. I liked the writing cause it was easy to read. It was fun, hot, sweet and somewhat disturbing but i loved it!!!!!. I adore the plot so much and the twists that kept happening were amazing too!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to read the next Everette brother!!!!!!!!!

I don’t know why I waited so long to read this book but I inhaled it. It was a fast read, the storyline and characters were so good, and it was amazing seeing Rae and crew. I love Jessa’s writing so much and can’t wait for Mattias’s book!
