It was interesting. I wanted to love it but not quite. It didn’t hit the mark that I was hoping it did. I think because he “needed” an heir I was hoping that we would get a glimpse into their pregnancy. The whole thing with Jerry and her Gran really threw for a loop. I can’t believe her Gran let her become a drug mule and didn’t save her.

Is it possible to be jealous of a fictional character? Because if so, I 100% am. Tynan is an amazing, strong character. He's taken over guardianship of his nephew and is struggling. Insert his nephew's sweet teacher (with a hidden past), who he happens to open up to. Tynan+ Elara = fireworks. I love the story by itself. Tynan is a broody, grump of a guy and I can't help but appreciate him too. He's so loyal to his family, and is happy for their happiness, but just doesn't want any part of it. He's closed off but can't help but be drawn to his nephew's teacher. Elara, well she's a gem. She's got spunk, and is a strong female lead that is the perfect mix of smart and not a pushover. She has a sad back story, and is in hiding when she meets Tynan and slowly starts to fall for him. Hook, line and sinker. He accepts nothing else. I love how the author includes little interactions with the previous series characters and weaves this large, dark world of characters. Elara has an amazing sense of humor, and I like the way she pokes at Tynan and his responses to her. He doesn't want to love someone, but man the way he falls. Brutal Savage is a fun, grab you by the eyes and not let you go story. It has spice- trust me, Tynan does not disappoint at all, and will leave you completely satisfied.

This book was written way better then The first in the series. The story is intermingled throughout and not rushed at the end. I was pleasantly surprised by the ending and all the twists. Kudos and I look forward to Fionns story.

There is something about a man willing to step up and take it all on, but when it is not your own kid ooooh it give me the vapors. Swoon swoon. The book as all of Lilian’s has a great and to me completely unseen plot twist! She always throws something in from left field leaving you searching past pages wondering how on earth did I miss that. Great read I could not put it down and as always the spice is nice 🌶️🌶️🌶️

This book was so good! I love Tynan and Elara together. And Brody. He won my heart! This book has a bit of everything: forced marriage with major chemistry, romance, angst, violence, and suspense. Highly recommend as always Lilian Harris does a great job! One of my favorite authors!

This was such a good book omg! Brutal Savage is the first book by Lilian Harris I’ve read, but I’m definitely a huge fan now. The story was fantastic, and there’s a twist I NEVER saw coming. There’s deeply emotional moments woven throughout as well as scenes where I couldn’t stop laughing. Brutal Savage is a wonderfully written story with characters that will demand you fall in love with them. Elara and Tynan were everything I needed them to be. Tynan is a morally grey man in the Irish mafia who turns into an absolute marshmallow when it comes to Elara and Brody. He adopted Brody after his parents died, and all he wants is for this little boy to be happy again. Tynan simply gave me no choice but to love him. And Elara is such a survivor. After everything she’s been through, she hasn’t allowed it to harden her. This was a good one. A woman on the run is always fun, but the suspense of what would happen once she's found by the enemy was torturous. I will say the banter between the MMC and MFC was a nice touch and kept me going. The only thing I had an issue with was the unrealistic interaction between them after being kidnapped and forced into marriage. I will say I was blown away by the turn of events that took place way too far into the book, but it was worth the wait.
