It started with a simple mistake. A knock on the wrong door. If we were better men, we’d have turned her away.
But we’re not. As Russian Bratva brothers, we had no business pursuing a naive librarian like Lyric. She’s innocent.
Pure. Gentle. We’re ruthless bastards who take what we want.
And we took her innocence. Watched her tremble. Heard her beg for more.
But once wasn’t enough. We’re obsessed with her sweetness, her purity. She doesn’t belong in our world, but it’s too late.
She’s ours now, and we’re not letting go. Not her. Not the baby growing inside her.

Another great erotic novel for Kai Lesy. This book does not disappoint. It is a page turning story of Lyric, who went for an interview not knowing she would meet three men that would turn her world upside down. The story is face paced, showing that the good guys are not good, and the bad guys are not bad. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was good old fashion Bratva smut and I loved it. Lyric is super headstrong and Max Ivan and Artur are the guys who can handle her. The danger and adventure was fun. The dialogue was funny and chaotic and the characters made you made mad at times but love them. Some stuff made mad but you can overlook it and enjoy this. I'm typically not a fan of bratva or mafia stories, but I am a Kai Lesy fan which apparently makes all the difference. I always find it difficult to believe when a good girl virgin goes "bad" so quickly - but that's just me, I guess. Otherwise, this was another great book in a long line of great books from this author. Well written with believable characters and an interesting plot. A+.
When I was offered this book to read for a review I thought it was going to be another one of “ those” books. You know the ones full of steam but not much else. No real plot or character development to be seen. I couldn’t have been more wrong. There was suspense, danger, love and loys of steam also. The FMC surprised me the most. She was a genius librarian who in my opinion was kick-a$$. She stood up to all the men in her life, even when she was scared. She stood up for what she knew to be right. I haven’t seen a lot of strong women in the books I have been reading lately. I happily and wholeheartedly recommend this book and look forward to reading more from this author. This was not quite what I expected. From the description I thought it was a different trope. She goes for a meeting with a professor but instead finds 3 bratva brothers in the suite who proposition her. She willingly accepts. The writing was well done and characters were decently fleshed out, more so the female main and the men were a little more basic. They had very steamy chemistry and spicy scenes. There is the romance plot line but the mafia drama plays heavily into this one and leads the story with the romance being secondary. The FMC has some unexpected talents and comes out strong with her men. They find their unconventional HEA in the epilogue. I enjoyed the characters and the story lines of this story. I would definitely recommend that it is to be read.
This is my first book by this author. It pulled me in from the very beginning. And I really truly enjoyed it. It was more than just romance because there was a serious plot behind everything. I did have a little problems with Lyric. Because for somebody that was so intelligent she did some really stupid things. Also I take issue when somebody claims to be in love but then lies to the person they're in love with whether it's a flat out lie or a Lie by omission. And she did all of the above. I adored Max, Artur and Ivan. The chemistry is off the charts. I'm Pro polyamorous so this book was right up my alley. Strong characters fill the roles of a complicated twisted storyline. It shows a side of the Bratva I've never seen before.
