Matthias Everette + Scarlet Laurent share a crazy past. Matthias is the epitome of a man down bad. He is one of the swooniest (is that even a word?!) and most possessive alphaholes l've ever read. He played his part well and it took Scarlet a bit to realize what was happening, but once she did all bets were off. Speaking of Scarlet, I love a woman who can handle her own. She didn't need a man to save her, but even she can admit it's nice not being on your own. It's weird to use the phrase "found family" for the Everette's since they are actual family, but they realize better than most just because you're blood, doesn't mean you're family. They CHOOSE to be each other's support and would do anything for one of their own. Their sisters included. I love Jessa's writing and her world, and I can't wait to see what's next for the Twisted Vows series.

A Twisted Arrangement **ARC REVIEW** OMG this book!! Jessa Wilder did it again with A Twisted Arrangement. This is Book 2 in the series between Matthias and Scarlet. They were childhood enemies to friends to enemies. Then as adults they’re enemies to lovers. Oh the drama and I was here for it. Matthias has been waiting for a decade to secure Scarlet Laurent as his wife - unbeknownst to her of course. He’s been there waiting in the shadows the entire time, manipulating events to make sure she remains his. Scarlet Laurent was the savior of the Everette brothers and they’ve been indebted to her ever since. After being traumatized by her family as a teenager she vowed never to be helpless as an adult. And that’s exactly what she did…becoming a bad a$$ lawyer who knows how to kick a$$. ATT is a dual POV, dark romance with mafia vibes. I’m already waiting (im)patiently waiting for Bash’s story in March and I’m excited!! Honestly, read this book. If you want a sassy FMC with a MMC who has “touch her and I’ll unalive you” vibes with some obsession and a side of stalking, then you’ll love this book!!

Such a good series. I can’t wait to read the next book. This book was great and the plot was so good.

This was a very intense book. It had me from the first chapter. Boy is he obsessed with Scarlett. He gave Damien so much crap for stalking his wife yet he had years of practice on doing it to Scarlett. I loved their bond and the 10 years they spent apart. It was truly amazing from the beginning to ending.

The writing was excellent and the story was interesting. I did not like the 10 year separation with no contact. No friendship. Nothing. Just him stalking her. And when he finally acts, miraculously she is ok with everything going down the way it does pretty quickly. He does not show any remorse ever thinking he is selfless. The mystery plot was good and I loved the brothers and Misty. I gave it an extra star because Scarlet was bad a** at the end and it did have a great epilogue. Overall it was just an ok read for me. Not as good as the first book

This book hit all the marks. Loved the storyline..the banter.. the slow build of anticipation. Scarlet was the hero in this story over and over again. Matthias love for her was so special..obsessive but so heartfelt! The epilogue was perfect and the extra back story was an amazing gift! Cannot wait for Bash’s story.

I must say i was surprised to say that i really liked it. I liked the first a lot but i forgot that this one was coming out soon and when I started it i couldn't put it down. It was soooo good, i loved the plot so much and it was the thing that kept me on my toes in the entire book!!!!!! I adored the characters as well and I can't wait to read more about the Everett boys!!!!! I liked that in the end it had a few scenes from the past but i feel like they could be at the beginning cause that's gonna explain a lot of stuff for the book but i don't complain it still was good and i had a great time!!!!!! It wasn't very dark for my liking but i did enjoy it!!!!!!! I'd love to read the ones that coming next!!!!!
