Single parents can be touchy to write, but there's no way she wouldn't do it justice, and boy did she!

Ridge only lives for his daughter Daisy until he meets Addy or Addison and he goes after what he wants and it is her.She is a teacher by day and a stripper on the weekends and that's how they meet up. But he doesn't realize that she is Daisy's teacher and now he has to tell his ex wife or they may be trouble. This story had some good vibes in it,A women with the biggest heart who cared about children, because all she wanted to be is a teacher.This a hot story and very enjoyable and a happy ending!

Filled with so much love, joy and ohh sweet promises! Nothing too dramatic about this book just a lot of sweet. He does come to the rescue at a job she hates but will she ever find out of it was him that bailed her out? His daughter his is world and she’s the type who loves kids. A match made! Honestly I was waiting for something to happen! But a decent read.

I enjoy Marni's books. Getting updates on the characters from the previous books without having to have read them is nice. I loved the characters. The teacher by day/stripper by night meets billionaire is the stuff you hope for of you're working like that. And in the cute kid and it was perfect.

This book is filled with emotion, steaminess and angst! I was already crying when reading the prologue of the book so just be prepared! ⁣ 🔹⁣ Ridge is a single dad to an adorable girl Daisy! He is working hard to not only be the best dad but also keep all the wheels turning for his work projects. Little did he know going out for one friend’s bachelor party he would meet Addy. Addy is going through a tough time and is doing anything she can to keep her head about water. ⁣ 🔹⁣ I loved the sunset/sunrise scene in the book! All the cute little parts with Ridge and Daisy just pulls at your heart strings! I am also a Swiftie saw the concert scene was everything because that is how I felt at the Era’s tour! This is probably one of Manni’s steamiest books yet and I loved every page! I cant wait to get Rhett’s story next!

Heartbreaker is the fourth installment in the Spade hotel series by the ever brilliant Marni Mann. As most of the other books in the series are the same, HB is a single bad, age gap, billionaire romance, each book in the series can be read as a standalone, but as I always recommend, reading the series in order gives a much better feel for the character and the plot. In typical Marni fashion Ridge and Addison meet in a not so normal way, AKA a strip club, so of course Ridge wants to get to know her better. They meet, they converse, they get it on in a hot and sweaty night of passion. Ridge waits for Addison to contact him, but she never does. Poor Addison isn’t one for hookups, let alone strip club hook ups, to say she is mortified is an understatement so she does the last thing she can think of, she ghosts him. After all, being a dancer isn’t bad, but she has her reasons for being so, reasons that she doesn’t want to share. The plot twist on this one, to say that Ms. Author was hiding the punch line! Low and behold, after thinking she will never see Ridge again, Addison gets a surprise in the form of being Ridge’s daughter's teacher. Her teacher, she slept with a student's parent. Oh that was such a kick in the pants to read. Addison and Ridge have a strong connection, and Ridge is like the perfect mixture of supportive guy and take charge guy. I really enjoyed the story on this read, the interaction between Ridge, Daisy and Addison made some of the sweetest moments. The mix between the sweet moments and the spicy bits really made the story quick and memorable for me. Ridge went above and beyond to make himself clear to Addison that he didn’t just want her in his bed, he wanted everything with her. I really loved the big gestures he made for her, not because she needed them per se but more because HE wanted to do them for HER, he wanted her to know how much he wanted her. Heartbreaker left me smiling and ready for another happy ending. 4 ⭐ 3.5 🌶️

Ridge and Addy’s story while unconventional is still a sweet love story. Their first meeting is unusual but the second time they meet leaves them both speechless. Not sure how to proceed Addy pulls back and while Ridge lets her, he is patient while also being persistent. Marni once again demonstrates her ability to give us an incredible story with some spice, from characters that you didn’t know had that in them. Her characters are well developed and thought out.
