I don't know how she does it bet everytime I think her writing can't get better it does. If you loved saint view psychos you are going to absolutely love slayers vs sinners. This is book 2 in the trilogy . In this one you see Hawks and Haydens Relationship escalate. You start to see more of Grayson and discover some of his secrets. Honestly I'm straight friken Jealous of Kara and the three men. You see so much character development in all 4 characters and I absolutely love it! I finish this book so damn quick. It seriously had me in a chokehold start to finish and that cliffy has me anxiously waiting for book 3 in October. As always Elle thanks for letting me be on your ARC team you're the best ❤️
Let me tell you, the way I had dropped EVERYTHING the moment hit my kindle is actually pretty funny. We were left on such a cliffhanger with Kara being buried alive that I needed answers. However all the events that follow I wasn’t expecting. We do get more of Grayson and I am so curious. Of course though we still get the whole gang and I may have spit out my water when Rebel tells Hawk she gets why Chaos did what he did to his leg since she wants to do it daily. But for real the tension between these two me is off the charts and WOW! Now just a warning, you may develop anxiety towards the end leading us to our next cliffy because it was INTENSE. Also like WHAT?!?! Good news is we only have a month before the next book so we won’t be waiting long.
Loved the story. So many twists and turns to get us where we were going. Didn’t see the end coming and now I need the last book!!
Another amazing story, another awesome cliff hanger. Another trio of beautiful flawed men working to be their best for their girl. Plenty of spice. Can't wait for the third!
So book two, starts exactly where the last book ended. Which if you read that cliffhanger, I was glad I wasn't kept waiting to find out what was happening. There was so much to uncover from book one's ending and the intensity just kept going. There are so many possible bad guys that this book had me in a chokehold and I simply couldn't put it down. Oh Elle, you have done it again! The chemistry in this group was through the roof. And I absolutely loved that we get Hawk and Chaos to finally follow the chemistry that has been building between them for a few books now. They were such a stubborn duo who thought they hated each other but were constantly drawn to one another. You had me blushing while unable to want more! As I have read every book in the Saint World Series, I love the connections between the characters, they're so real that a part of me hates when the book ends, and I have to leave this world again. Also, I did not see how Grayson was going to fit in, but I am loving his character development. And I honestly love his psychopath therapy group, they legit might be my favorite group of side characters. They had me rolling with their unique brand of antics. But that ending, madame, you're killing me here! I need the next book yesterday! Ugh the downfall of getting the books early, I have to wait. I cannot wait to see how the whole story finishes and unravels. I loved this group of characters and honestly just want more and more.
We’re back with the second book of Kara’s story and Elle, as always, did not disappoint. The cliffhanger and plot twists had me gasping out loud at my desk. We picked up where we left Kara in book 1, and if you’ve read you know that cliffhanger was INTENSE. Kara is slowly growing and becoming stronger after leaving the compound, and you really get to see that in this book. You heart just breaks for her because she’s only ever tried to protect her daughter, but in doing so, it cost her quality time with Hayley Jade. Hayley’s bond with Hawk melts my heart and she’s slowing becoming closer to Hayden. You can see the family forming even if the characters don’t yet. Kara had such a great character development in this book, and I can’t wait to see her break free of all of her chains. Hawk and Hayden, the relationship I’ve been waiting for! It was everything. I love them together so much. They have such a classic enemy to lovers story line with a dash of “I hate you, but you’re hot and I like that” vibe. The only common ground they seem to have right now is their attraction for each other and their love for Hayley and her daughter, but the chemistry is off the charts. I ate this relationship up and I’m on pins and needles waiting for it to come to its peak. Kara, Hawk, and Chaos are all starting to notice that Grayson has his eyes on Kara. The scene in the club (iykyk) was just the beginning and I’m so excited for more. It’s going to seem like I’m brushing over Grayson, but to avoid spoilers, I’m going to let you see that on your own. I am itching for book 3! This is on track to be one of my favorite trilogies Elle has written.
I have waited, not so patiently, for this book. It did not disappoint. Turmoil, lust, suspense, …. I hope I can hold on for the next book.
Book two in the Slayers versus Sinners trilogy is amazing! It is action and drama from the beginning to the end and I couldn’t put it down. Kara, Hawk, Hayden, and Grayson are all so different, yet they fit together like a puzzle. The buildup of all of these characters is brilliant, showcasing so much more than ever before. Granted, Grayson is relatively new, but in this story, he is quite a pivotal character, and I totally understand why Kara fell for him, too. The emotional connection between not only the lead characters but also the other MC members and staff at the clinic, AKA Willa, is terrific. Quite a few deeper issues are highlighted, and they make you stop and think. These are cleverly woven into the existing mystery of the serial killer on the loose and the madness that is Josiah, the cult leader from Hell. This story has everything a great romantic suspense should have, and if I could give it more stars, I would. That ending, though, is a tease of the highest order. I truly can’t wait for Three to Fall, which will be released next month.
