INSTANT #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER INSTANT USA TODAY BESTSELLER INSTANT #1 SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLER The former head of the Pentagon program responsible for the investigation of UFOs—now known as unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP)—reveals long-hidden secrets with profound implications for not only national security but our understanding of the universe. Luis “Lue” Elizondo is a former senior intelligence official and special agent who was recruited into strange and highly sensitive US government program to investigate UAP. To accomplish his mission, Elizondo had to rely on decades of experience gained working some of America’s most classified programs.
Even then, he was not prepared for what he would learn, including the truth about the government’s long shadowy involvement in UAP investigations, and the lengths officials would take to keep it a secret. For years, Elizondo and his colleagues found themselves on the front lines of what may be the greatest mystery and cover-up in history. Unidentified craft that seem to defy our knowledge of physics — within air, water, and space — have been operating with complete impunity since at least World War II.
The military, the CIA, and even past presidents have known the truth that humanity is, in fact, not the only intelligent life in the universe. The nonhuman intelligence controlling these UAP are actively conducting surveillance on our most sensitive military installations, and have interfered with ongoing military and nuclear operations. US service members and intelligence officers who have encountered UAP have sustained serious medical injuries.
And all of this is happening worldwide. The stakes could not be higher. Imminent is a first-hand, revelatory account inside the Pentagon’s most closely guarded secret and a call to action to confront humanity’s greatest existential questions.
In a world constantly abuzz with unverified reports and footage of unidentified aerial phenomena, curiosity often flutters dangerously close to skepticism. This riveting narrative takes readers inside the ticker-tape heart of the Pentagon's classified world. Authored by the program's former head, this book promises a dive into covert missions targeting the enigma of UFOs.
Discover revealing insights featured on the Joe Rogan Experience that probe beyond terrestrial limits.
Gain insider insights into the Pentagon's classified UAP investigations. Explore government encounters with unidentified aerial phenomena. Delve into formerly hidden truths about UFO phenomena.
Imminent guides readers through the labyrinth corridors of the Pentagon unraveling the tangled web of intelligence surrounding unidentified aerial phenomena. As the former director of the classified program the author reveals challenges faced in tracking these perplexing objects. Drawing from extensive experience this book unveils fact-driven narratives interwoven with compelling anecdotes that make the intangible world of UFOs more accessible.
With a precision lens it subtly peels layers to expose encounters that remained hidden shadowed by secrecy. The quest for truth proves elusive emboldened not by a singular event but a pattern of strange occurrences. Exploring these incidents the reader checks the palpitating pulse of government encounters with UAPs from data gathering to pilot testimonies.
Amid the backdrop of increasing public curiosity and skepticism this book serves both as a guide and a revelation. It navigates the grey zone between curiosity and confirmation leaving readers with new perspectives on humanity's place in the universe.
By blending meticulous research and narrative gravitas, the book thrusts readers into the forefront of the Pentagon's hunt for UAPs, making it a must-read for truth-seekers. Authored by the insider himself, the first-hand perspective provides a fresh and unparalleled view unlike any other account, grounded in facts yet sparking wonder. Beyond captivating tales, it resonates with current societal intrigue about the unknown, delivering meaningful debates and insights that resonate beyond its pages.

No new info shared on aliens or UFOs - nothing that’s not already in the public, it’s mainly about the bureaucratic nature of the DoD and how ineffective it can be at times - it’s also about Lou’s journey. I think the most compelling part is the end, the progress being made by congress. I hope one day more can learn what they’ve learned in those secret rooms that has compelled such action.
Well written, and eye opening. Great insight on an uncomfortable topic by a true American patriot. I've been fascinated by this topic for years and gained a renewed interest after having my own crazy experience at Johusa Tree N.P last year (see pic). It's great to see this topic being taken seriously (finally) thanks in part to the author. Great read!
There are few books on the UFO/UAP subject that leave the reader with a powerful impact! In 2010 Author/Journalist Leslie Kean released her book, UFO Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials Go on The Record. It was groundbreaking on the subject! Then in 2021 Australian Journalist Ross Coulthart released In Plain Sight. This also was a book of high standards on this enigmatic subject. Coulthart released a revised version of the book in 2023. Both of the forementioned books are well worth reading. Now, we have whistleblower Luis Elizondo and his book imminent. I just finished reading it and I have to say........this is a powerful book on the UFO/UAP subject. It validates it! Elizondo has come forward to tell the American public, that YES..............We are not alone. The US Government has been lying to the American public and the world for well over eight decades. This subject stretches back to the WWII era if not well before that. Elizondo reveals what he has come across while in charge of the Pentagon's ATTIP department he oversaw. He brings forth the 2004 Tic Tac incident which naval Cmdr. David Fravor encountered. This was no drone, or adversarial aircraft. Fravor himself stated what he witnessed was in his mind Nobody's Inventory. Other naval pilots like Ryan Graves have also stepped forward to say they have encountered objects which are not manmade. Elizondo also digs into how these craft are able to be trans medium and how they defy current physics. This book covers a lot of areas which are eye opening if you are a newcomer or veteran to this subject. Elizondo reveals that the 1947 Roswell incident was not a balloon of any kind. It was a craft that crashed there. Also, he talks about the Legacy Project. This was a secret decades old team that had the remains of off world technology and the bodies of the entities that came with the craft. Congress is now taking this topic seriously. However, there are forces in the Government still trying to push the genie back into the bottle. At this point though the UFO/UAP topic has been validated as real, ongoing and mysterious. It is in our airspace and in our oceans. Elizondo's book is perhaps the best book written about the UFO/UAP subject to date. I highly recommend this book! Elizondo.........is an American hero for stepping out and telling the public what was regarded as only Sci-Fi or Myth before!
Lue Elizondo ran the U.S. Defense Department’s Unknown Anomalous Phenomena (UAP, also known as Unidentified Flying Object [UFO] or Unidentified Submersible Object [USO]) investigation for many years and resigned in protest at the DoD’s refusal to take seriously the potential threat posed by UAP and to be more transparent with the public about what is known. This is an entertaining, readable summary of what is and isn’t known about UAP’s and the overwhelming evidence that some UAP’s were made by Non-Human Intelligences (NHI’s) and that the United States Government has been secretly investigating these craft for generations while actively concealing what it knows. It’s also a readable memoir about Lue’s life and career and his personal engagement with this issue. Read it, then email your member of Congress and Senator and ask that they support the UAP Disclosure bill in the current Congress. The public has a right to know the truth and Congress should have oversight over the use of taxpayer funds!
This book really provides a well documented overview of the behind-the-scenes struggle for UAP disclosure with some very revealing juicy details about the UAP phenomenon. This topic is understandably a can of worms for the government and society at large. It raises more questions than answers, and I think it may be largely disturbing to the majority of the population. I believe this is why most people seem to go slightly unconscious when you talk to them about the topic. It’s almost as if it’s too much to consider and they’d rather not think about it. And really what could they do about it? So ignorance of the topic or feigning “no interest” in the topic is sort of a psychological and perhaps unconscious coping mechanism for a large part of the population. I think for many of us interested in this topic, it’s a sort of entertaining interest. But as I read through this book, you start to realize that there are some very serious implications. It appears as though there’s a lot of evidence supporting the fact that a very technologically advanced superior species is engaging with our planet. That raises a lot of questions. Who are they? Where did they come from? Why are they here? What are their intentions? And importantly, the powers that be do not want the public at large to know about this. That is a curious position. Why? You would think this information would be exciting to share, the biggest discovery of human history. One that could perhaps unite the planet around our shared humanity. Ironically, this information is considered top-secret and has been suppressed and denied at all costs. The most plausible reason this has been done is for national security reasons, akin to the nuclear bomb. A race to reverse engineer this technology in order to achieve technological global dominance first, similar to the race to achieve artificial super intelligence. Once the technology was mastered, the US could then contemplate Disclosure - but not before the objective was achieved. Besides, Disclosure might hamper these efforts and in an open society where the public would demand more and more information and details, which might accidentally tip our hand to our enemies and accelerate foreign adversaries programs to make contact, reverse engineer, and get there before us. And who’s to say these visitors wouldn’t ally themselves with some other nation and empower them ahead of the US, which could totally disrupt the balance of global power. I suspect that this is a very difficult situation for the US government, or any global superpower. I am for disclosing the truth, whatever that may be, however, I do empathize with the significance of the decision to do so. From a risk management perspective, the potential impacts could be existential to the existing global power structure. As a thought experiment, imagine for example if North Korea, Russia, or China accelerated their UAP contact efforts, as a result of US disclosure, and made a breakthrough in contacting them, and the visitors empathized with them for some reason and decided to support and give them advanced technologies. Such an outcome changes everything. I do believe the cat is out of the bag, and the likely course is a slow drip of increasingly more info. That seems to be the only course of action plausible. Another option is for the government (or NASA) to reveal a monumental scientific discovery along the lines of the James Webb telescope discovering definitive signatures of life elsewhere in the universe. This could massively deflect the conversation away from UAP in our neck of the woods, galvanize scientists, resources and interest across the world, and completely deflect the conversation away from UAP for a while. It could also act as a sort of good faith, formal government soft disclosure in preparation for ultimate disclosure. This could buy them more time to work on reverse engineering the technology, without disclosing what they already know. It’s safe to say that the future is going to be interesting. I recommend you buy this book and buy a few extra copies to share with friends and family. It’s a very exciting read and hard to put down. Great job to Lou Elizondo, Christopher Mellon, and all those involved. And I applaud those in government with the courage to tackle the subject on behalf of the American public and the world at large, so that we may better understand the truth and our place in the cosmos.
