A hilarious and reassuring gift for every mom: because we’re all doing the best we can, and the natural world is filled with moms worse than you! A mom giraffe is pretty nice until the fetus drops. She’ll birth a newborn baby calf, then kick him ’til he walks.
Whenever you feel guilty that you haven’t cleaned the house: Sexton beetles raise their kids in a decomposing mouse. A koala mom will feed her kids her own poop. Yes, poop.
Panda moms will abandon one twin because raising two is, well, just too much. And every now and then a cuddly little hamster mom will —yup— eat her newborn pups. These and other true facts from the animal kingdom offer a hilarious reality check on what constitutes “good parenting.” So, human mother, time to stop worrying about the job you're doing —because you’re a great mom.
In a world where parenting advice is abundant and often overwhelming, 'There Are Moms Way Worse Than You' offers a refreshing perspective that is both reassuring and enlightening. This book humorously highlights the universal challenges of motherhood, reminding every mom that perfection is not the goal. It's an empowering read that leverages wit and candid anecdotes to reinforce the truth that being a fantastic parent doesn't require being flawless.
1. Embrace imperfections in parenting while nurturing your child's individuality. 2.
Celebrate small victories and cherish everyday moments with your children. 3. Parenting is a journey of continuous learning and personal growth.
Parenthood brings with it a rollercoaster of emotions, from immense joy to self-doubt, as mothers constantly strive for perfection. This book delves into the intricacies of these emotions with humor and empathy, providing a reassuring voice to every mom questioning her worth. By lamely juxtaposing absurd parenting standards, the author hilariously illustrates that there are always moms way more forgetful, disorganized, and scatterbrained than you are.
Through engaging narratives and relatable anecdotes, the story cultivates a sense of camaraderie among mothers, reinforcing the idea that they are not alone in their struggles. It emphasizes the notion that what truly matters is the love, care, and effort you provide to your children each day. With punchy humor and poignant insights, this work serves as a reminder that being a good parent isn't about meeting societal standards but about being present and nurturing.
The book's wit is unmatched utilizing humor to shed light on the reality of parenting while reminding moms everywhere that it's okay to fall short sometimes Its distinctive tone breaks away from conventional parenting guides offering not only advice but moral support through laughter This captivating narrative makes readers feel celebrated and understood transforming everyday parenting challenges into a testament to their role as fantastic parents.

Gifted this book to my sister, who has a sense of humor. While parenthood can be a pain in the neck. This book lifted her spirit and gave her confidence and a great laugh.
Hilarious and a perfect gift for my mom. Not for the sensitive types though. Written in a tongue in cheek style with creative art supporting the story. Love it!
All of us moms have moments of self-doubt. It's just science. This book is laugh out loud funny, and does a really great job of making you laugh. The rhyming is so awesome, but my favorite page is the seal flipping off it's children as it swims away. This truly so funny, well-written, and a great way to let moms with kids of all ages know that they aren't alone. Being a mom is hard! But it's much harder when you don't have a sense of humor about it. Thanks for writing this!
Love this book and so does my wife. But not necessarily a kid friendly book with some of the language. Granted, a 0-18 month old can’t understand swears yet, so it’s a funny book to read until they start understanding bad words. Wife loved it for Mother’s Day.
I was hesitant to gift this bc of certain reviews I read where women found it offensive rather than funny but I think that’s for people who are really uptight. I gifted this to a family member who loved it & found it hilarious. I think this makes for a really funny and cute gift. I was happy with my purchase!
I bought this book because the link was sent to me by my mom. She said I definitely needed this book lol. I got it and it did not disappoint. It's really funny. Good gift for a mom going through a hard time for sure!
This is hilarious! And it’s also entertaining and encouraging. I know many moms who stress way too much about how horrible they are doing. This book is great at pointing out how we aren’t doing quite so bad after all.
This is written like a children's book, but it is definitely for adults, specifically moms. My best friend and I commiserate often about raising children, and how you can often feel that you aren't good enough or that no one appreciates you. I bought this for her as funny gift, and we both got a huge kick out of it. Perfect little gift for a mom.
