The two-time New York Times bestselling author, OG Vanderpump Rules star, and host of the successful chart-topping podcast Stassi is back and better than ever with a candid guide to rethinking the girlboss life, taking the pressure off, and lessons she’s learned since becoming a mom of two. Before she wrote Off with My Head , a book about hitting what felt like rock bottom, Stassi Schroeder was writing an entirely different story: a basic bitch’s guide on how to be—wait for it—a “girlboss.” But then 2020 came along and after a global pandemic, losing her job, becoming pregnant and having her first child, and getting married, suddenly being a girlboss wasn’t the vibe. Instead of giving up, Stassi grew up and learned from her mistakes (you know, just standard evolution).
After two and a half years in limbo, Stassi was ready to launch her career again. She’d come a long way from that temperamental Season One Stassi. She’d gained a new perspective on what she wants out of business, her career, and life: to carve a path for herself, on her terms.
The thing is, all of this pressure to “have it all” while girlbossing it up…it’s exhausting, and Stassi isn’t sure it’s the ticket to happiness that we all thought it was. That’s truly what this book is about: the desire for joy. It’s about accepting the fact that you may not be the “perfect” parent/partner/friend/human at all times, and that’s okay.
Instead of letting mom guilt or work guilt get her down, Stassi is trying to learn and to encourage us all to take the pressure off, give ourselves grace, and lean into the things that bring happiness. And if you need a little sauvignon blanc or Aperol spritz to get you through the tough days…so be it.
In a world where the pressure to be perfect looms large, "You Can't Have It All: The Basic B*tch Guide to Taking the Pressure Off" emerges as a refreshing beacon of realism. With her witty and insightful approach, the author dismantles the myth of having it all together, encouraging readers to let go of societal expectations and embrace their authentic selves. This book offers an empowering journey of self-acceptance and liberation, inviting women to redefine success on their own terms and live a happier, more fulfilling life.
Get ready to laugh, reflect, and rediscover the joy in life’s beautifully imperfect moments.
Embrace your flaws and imperfections as part of your unique life journey. Challenge societal norms by redefining success on your own terms. Reduce stress by letting go of unrealistic expectations and pressures.
In a culture that celebrates perfection You Can't Have It All' flips the script encouraging us to reject the unattainable standards of modern society. The author shares poignant anecdotes and practical advice transforming struggles into stepping stones for personal growth. By embracing authenticity and imperfection readers can navigate life's chaos with newfound confidence.
The journey to self-acceptance begins as the book dismantles the myth of "having it all." Exploring themes of self-worth identity and resilience it empowers women to reclaim their narratives. Through engaging storytelling and reflective exercises readers will find the courage to redefine what truly matters in their lives. Each chapter is a reminder that striving for an impossible ideal is a disservice to oneself.
Instead the book advocates for balance and prioritization inviting readers to celebrate small victories. It emphasizes the importance of mental well-being by challenging the notion that happiness is only achievable through external success. As the pages unfold the author skillfully weaves humor and insight creating a relatable and motivational guide.
Women of all ages will find solace in its messages rekindling the spark of joy and authenticity. By releasing ourselves from societal shackles the path to fulfillment becomes clearer. Finally You Can't Have It All' serves as a catalyst for transformation urging readers to embrace imperfections and live more intentionally.
Through self-discovery and acceptance it encourages a shift from elusive perfection to self-love and empowerment fostering a genuine appreciation for life's unpredictable beauty.
This book stands out by offering a refreshing blend of humor and wisdom that challenges societal norms head-on It's uniquely relatable resonating with readers seeking practical advice intertwined with laughter The author skillfully transforms personal narratives into universal lessons providing readers with both inspiration and actionable guidance This approach makes the book not only engaging but also highly applicable to everyday life By emphasizing authenticity over perfection it pioneers a much-needed conversation about mental health and self-worth in today's fast-paced world Its empowering message is a comforting reminder that imperfection is not only normal but beautiful.

A lot of the same things were talked about in off with my head
So impressed with Stassi! Writing 3 memoirs in under 10 years is such talent. She always brings such heartfelt & relatable content in her books! always a fan forever! ❤️
Stassi delivers again! I love her style of writing. Stassi writes in a refreshingly clever, blunt, funny, honest, self deprecating way that is always so authentic and relatable. Not easy to crank out 3 NYT bestsellers. Just ask her former cast mates🌚 … lol So excited Stassi is coming back to tv too! She can’t join these ensemble shows. Stassi, Beau, Hartford and Messer ARE the show!❤️🔥
Stassi is extremely vulnerable when it comes to being a mom and her mental health. Some parts were hard to relate to as I’m not yet in that stage of my life.
Excellent read, highly recommend! Stassi is so relatable and funny!
