About This Book

***A Single Dad/ Nanny, Steamy Hockey Romance*** It was only supposed to be one-hot-night in Vegas with a total stranger. We even agreed not to exchange names or occupations. So how in the hell did I end up in Seattle standing on the front stoop of his mansion as the new live-in nanny two weeks later?

Well, turns out Karma works quick because I stole something that night off the sexy stranger's nightstand before I snuck out of his room without saying goodbye and now, I'm going to pay for it. I never steal! I'm practically an honorary Eagle Scout but he said it was his lucky charm and as of lately, my life has seemed void of any luck for quite some time.

But now with his ruggedly handsome face sporting a brutal scowl that's usually reserved for his opponents on the ice, I think I'm going to need that lucky charm to do its magic. I'd happily turn right around and walk back down the driveway but unfortunately... I need this job to buy me a little more time after completely draining my savings to avoid my ex-fiancé and his new girlfriend.

Kaenan only needs help for ten weeks during the hockey season and then I'll head back to face the music and return to my old life in Colorado... *** All books in this series are standalone in the same hockey universe and can be read in any order, however, there may be potential for spoilers if not read in chronological order due to prior HEA's already occurring for other players on the team. Reading order is recommended.

Happy reading!

This is my favorite in the series thus far. I really liked the first two, but there is something about this that makes you so happy. There are many ups and downs, but from the one night stand in Vegas to the nanny gig, you can’t put the book down. Their relationship is epic.

it was okay.

I loved the first few books in this series and I thought I would like this one too. There were a lot of spelling and grammatical errors in this story. The timeline of this book didn’t really line up with the first few books in the series. This book felt very rushed and not planned out. Keenan and Isla were a great couple but I wish their story was different. I also wish the ending was just better and didn’t just cut right off.

So far so good!

I really liked the book but it was heard to read with all the errors. If not for the errors I would have given the book 5 stars. I have read the first 2 books in this series already and they did not have the errors in it like this one had.

I started this book after finishing the second one to get my reading time in before bed. That was about 4hrs ago. This trope isn't usually my favorite but these two are cute, though I feel their story is a little rushed, even if we see some of it in the other books. I did notice "ok" was missing a lot in my version of the book.

great book, terrible ending

I gave this book 3 stars because there were lots of errors and missed words, and it ended awkwardly. This was such a wonderful book, I just wish it had been edited better and ended better. It was such an abrupt ending to a book, and felt as if it was unfinished. You finally hit the main conflict, besides their personal character growth, and then 2 weeks pass, I love yous are finally said, and then the end. There was more to be said about these main characters, and I truly loved them, but I felt like there was a lot of fluff in this book if it was going to end so suddenly.

Good, but so many editing mistakes

I enjoy this series so much, this is the third book in the series I’ve finished as I’ve been going in order. However this book just feels rushed or something. The typos, the incorrect or simply missing words, and the jumbled or misused common phrases were so distracting from the story. I found myself having to go back and reread pages because of them. There were also a few timeline mistakes that just made this book seem like it was being churned out without a care for the quality of the writing. The endings of this series always feel a little rushed, but this one felt especially quick. Maybe it was meant to, but for a book that basically only took place over a 10 week period, there were huge timeline jumps with multiple weeks just skipped that could have been used to reinforce all of the main character’s relationships with the other characters in Seattle. I’m just a little disappointed, but hopeful the writing in the next book will feel more like the other two.

Despite the 10-15 editing issues throughout the book that irked me terribly, it was a great story & fun read, like all the others in this series!
