Great read!
Great read! I loved the characters and how the world is being developed. Everything is tying in so seamlessly loving this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Love, Deception, Intrigue.....and dragons
there are not a lot of books that I highlight passages or quotes, but somehow the words in this book have grabbed me and I could not stop! We catch up with Story Dehana and the aftermath of her near murder by the sun king. I love how Story evolves in this book, becoming stronger and more assured of herself. I absolutely love the touch her and die moments and the love declarations! Avaluna also features and we learn more from her POV which is great because we learn more about the vampire King and Prince Emyr... so many moments that left me surprised as we uncover more and more of the Fae's History! and then the reunion that we thought that wouldn't happen had me in tears, and then more tears thereafter! and what a cliffhanger to leave us on!! i have just finished and dont quite have all my words.... but this gave me Fourth Wing / Throne of Glass vibes and told in such a riveting manner. loved reading this and I desperately need book 3!

Wow… it had been a hot minute since I had read A Vow of Dragons and Storms, so it took me just a minute to remember what had happened in book 1. This book was CRAZY good though. Now that Story has broken the curse on the actual mansion and freed them (sorta) and gained her own dragon, she is stupid mad at all the Fae Kings for lying, betraying her and even attempting to kill her. She doesn’t know who to trust. But when they discover that she didn’t break all the wards – they can get as far as Nightfall – the Sun King still believes that she will need to die to break it all down. Daegan, the Moon King, realizes that she is his entwined mate and will do anything to make her his… but when they realize she has more than 1 entwined mate, things get a little weird. Also someone from Story’s past gets into the ward, with the help of the Ice queen and daughter, and tells Story that the Vampyres have amassed an army of their own with creatures that can fly as well and they are headed their direction. Now they have to figure out how to defeat this army, while staying away from the evil Vampyre King and Prince. Loved it… although THAT ENDING!! Arggghhh! I hope the next book releases pretty quick, so I know what happens next!

Great book!
This was amazing! I am an instant fan ever since I read the first book! The story and characters are all well-developed. I was hooked the entire time. I was super excited to continue with Story's journey. I cant wait to read more! I definitely recommend the series!

I absolutely loved the first book and I couldn’t wait to read this book and of course I absolutely loved it. At times Story was annoying but I still loved the story and characters. Story has been lied to, betrayed and now wants revenge. Story gets a surprise ally that shocks her. The war is in full force, but who will survive. The ending holy shit I need the next book soon. I need to know what will happen to Story. Great story and characters and of course I love the chemistry between Ziven and Story.

I REALLY do not want Story to be what it says she will be! Please say it isn't so! This book is amazing and I will read the 3rd book.please read from book one and you will not be disappointed. But maybe wait until the 3rd book is out so you don't have to pine for the resolution like I am.
