The book has some detailed information, yet missing a few items I was looking for (ie some parks and gardens in and around Tokyo). The print is so small that I had to get out a magnifying glass to read it.
Will be going to many sites and locations. Comprehensive information helps plan our trip.
This book will help you with your travels in japan. Very useful to have on hand.
This book was mailed to a family member who loves Japanese culture
well organized, super index which is very important....and good writing and photos....very helpful resource
Disappointed in Lonely Planet, we dug into Fordor's and won! This is a working guide to a very foreign place. The any hints on crowds, not just at the sights but, CRITICALLY, for tram, RR, bus, and metro. Fodor's is practical, Lonely Planet was a Wikipedia of too much of the unnecessary.
Wish there were more reviews of restaurants.
Excellent details as always
