I gave this book as a gift to my boss who’s about to retire. He loved it! I peeks the contents. It’s very solid
Bought for my new stepdaughter. She seemed to really like it.
Classic quality of National Geographic publications with dramatic and diverse photography and copy that is both enjoyable and informative. The foreword by Adam Sakura adds a nice touch. Kate Siber writes engaging and descriptive introductions to each hike and provides critical details (distance, best time to go, length of trip, difficulty) Novices will appreciate some of the packing information. Display it on the coffee table and you’ll find yourself picking it up frequently to dream of and plan your next adventure.
This was a gift and the person receiving it really liked it. I was a beautiful book with wonderful photos and easy to follow directions.
A really cool take on hikes!
Got the book for my husband who likes to hike. Very cool book to read. Lots of different hikes all over the world. The book gives ratings about the trails, what you can expect to see on the trails and much more.
MIL is an avid hiker and was planning her next trip within days of receiving this book! The book goes into great detail about what to expect on each hike. Difficulty, length and time. As well as best times of year. Overall perfect! Even if you keep it as a coffee table book the images are stunning and will have your imagination wondering.
If you have a hiker in your life this book is a great gift - and if you are a hiker want to be this book is a great inspiration! Beautiful!
