This book has a very bad odor
It was great book to read I love the chronicles of Narnia I would totally recommend to anyone to read this
Kids will enjoy it.
This book does not disappoint. Its very suspenseful and hard to put down. The illustrations are wonderful. My 9 year old son and I are reading it together. We love it!
Why this book went from Arizona to California then to Florida and then ended up coming to Ohio is beyond me. Package was a bit wrinkled and bent but what would you expect from traveling 2500 miles? All of which is not the shippers fault.
This is my favorite of the "Chronicles.. " series. Excellent depiction of the war between good and evil.
I wanted this book to complete a set that only had one book missing. Unfortunately, my set is copyright 1954 and this one is 1955 and they don't match in size. I was going to give it as a matching set for Christmas
I really wasn't expecting this novel to be good. I bought it because since 'Voyage of the dawn treader' movie is coming this december, i thought it was good idea to buy the books that filled the gap that left the movies so i could understand it all better. Now in regards of this novel, i really liked it, i'm not sure if the Narnia novels that have been made into movies are degraded but i like this novel better than the novels that have been converted into films. I haven't read them in their respective novel books so i don't know how good they are really. But anyways, the reason i think this novel was better, was because it wasn't much about massive battles (which i'm not much of a fan) but rather about pure adventure. I loved some of the places and moments of the story which are for me the highlights. By reading this installment (also by reading C.S. Lewis bio) i became much more interested on Narnia.
