Haven’t been disappointed with Mary Higgins Clark books…
Just as I started reading this, my daughter, a down syndrome child of thirty-eight, was caught by cameras swimming alone in our neighbor's pool while they were not home. A neighbor child saw me outside and asked me if I was looking for her and then told me where she was. I took her home and was so nervous that she wasn't a good swimmer and any thing could have happened. I was angry with her but I understood that all the neighbor children were using the pool and she was not invited. About 20 min later a policeman was at our door asking to see her and then another showed up, then two more squad cars came, lining up half our block. They had spoken to the.owners and were aware of the disability so they spoke very gently to her, but in the end gave her a warning for unlawful trespassing. I hope they told the neighbor to lock their doors and their gate. I sympathize d with the mother and boy, knowing anything could be construed to be.harmful for them. It is not fun.
loving the story telling on my second box of cd's
I have several Mary Higgens Clark hardcover books. I guess I didn't see that this was not a hardcover book. This will be hard to read because the words are so small.
