I just finished this masterpiece. The book is superb and has a lot of depth in the interworking of the pharma industry practices and how it impacts us. I also appreciated all the resources at the end of the book on the best media outlets to look into and Sharyl also has a great site that I get news from.

It opens your eyes to how our medical research institutes and researchers are compromised by outside forces that do not serve our society’s best interest. It is a must read before you make any decisions about your health or your loved ones.

I received this book on Monday. I read a couple of chapters each day. The amount of excellent investigative journalism is amazing and greatly appreciated. This book takes a fresh look at the facts and reveals some of the consequences of relying too much on cutting edge medicines. The US spends more than any other country in the world on medical treatments, and we are some of the least healthy in the world today. It fills in the blanks and is a must read for people wanting to get the rest of the story. It clarifies the issues of how the impact from side effects are manipulated and downplayed through the media today. It seems that some of these medications and treatments are harming us and our children, rather than healing.

The author has a great reputation and this is just another example of her great research and reporting. This day and age where truth is manipulated, hidden, or corrupted, Ms Arrkisson lays it on the line. EVERY ADULT needs to read thos book. I taught Science and History for 22 years and I knew what we were being told by many in the medical profession, politicians, big pharma, and the media was flawed. Sharyl not only exposes it but also PROVES IT! Our founders recognized the need of an informed populace. That's the reason for the media's special freedom in the First Amendment. Our media has become more concerned with MONEY and won't expose truth. Our medical professionals took an oath to not cause harm. More people are dying from prescription drugs than any other cause. WOW! The latest book by Sharyl Attkisson Follow The Science… I have read her last two books and they are perfectly written in the forms of evidence and well researched insights. Sharyl Attkisson confirms in her latest book what I have personally suspected for some time. The Pharma industry isn’t telling us everything It should be.

I consider myself to be pretty up to date on health and medical scandals, but I had no idea about all the revelations in Attkisson's latest page turner! This is written from a true insider's view with meticulous references to sourcing so that even the unbelievable becomes shockingly convincing. My favorite chapter: The Frog Professor. The story of what happened to this researcher encompasses all the themes of the book: coverups, smears, dangerous chemicals in our food and water, and our health crisis. I started out angry but by the end I felt motivated, which was perfect for the flow of the book, which end with an inspiring call to action that is very doable for me. Spoiler Alert: Who knew NBC journalist David Bloom's death was a possible smallpox vaccine adverse event (uncovered by Attkisson's reporting at CBS)?
