My son loves this book. The story is super cute and it's one of the books we will be reading all Halloween season to get him excited for trick or treating. It is paper back but you can't beat the price. There are flaps on almost each page which helps keep my son interested. Sometimes it's hard to keep his attention for the duration of the book. I'd recommend buying!
