I purchased this book for a baby shower but read it before wrapping it up. It was the perfect book. This is a book that can be read everyday and good to hold on to for years just for memories. It will make you emotional in a good way.
This is a sweet story about a Mother’s relationship with her child. I read this to my children when they were young, and I read it to my grandchildren, and tears of love flow every time.
What can I say... This is the book that started it all for us. Someone loved us enough to give it to us for our first born (he’ll be 21 this week). We read it to our kids and sang it to them every night of their childhood. We still sing it over them (19 & 21) with such fondness. So we pay it forward and give it to every couple we know as their child is born.
I was given this book by my daughter when she was pregnant with her first child. It was given to her at a baby shower. She loved it so much she gave me one. That grand-daughter is now 22 years old, my daughter 50. As an elderly woman, I still find this a precious book to give new Moms!
This book was given to me when I had my children. I loved reading it to them and know I give it as a gift for new parents. Such a sweet story!
