Bought this book for my now 21 year old daughter and remember how much she enjoyed it so I went ahead and got it for my 9 year old who read it in a matter of hours. She was really interested in learning more about her body and what happens with LOTS of questions that I didn’t want to answer wrong or scare her and this helped her understand and open up to me about what she read and how she felt about it
My now 16 year old read this at 10/11 and now my 11 year old is reading it. Great information that is age appropriate and a great tool for those kids who don’t really want to talk about puberty, opens them up for questions they might have.
This was just what my daughter and I needed to jump start our puberty talks
Got this for my girls learning about puberty. It really helped them gain some reassurance about body positivity and the normalcy of puberty.
My daughter loves to read and the book has the answers to her questions. It made her feel more confident and helped her understand changes. Good use of examples. She can relate to the cases.
Daughter loved this book. Definitely good for her to read and we talk through any topics I wanted to really talk about more. Helps us both to open up discussions. Bought volume 2 as well.
My kiddo is an elementary school and I was trying to figure out a good book for her to read. My coworker made the suggestion. They keep it informative, light, enough description to explain what's going on but not enough detail to where you're asked a million questions and now stuck in an uncomfortable situation. They do have some diagrams and pictures in the book although I don't remember seeing any of private areas. It taught my kiddo a lot about her body that will change as she gets a little older. We were able to discuss feminine products and it encouraged her to take a shower. Great book and I recommend it!
