Beautiful pictures
Great kids Bible
Very beautiful story book based on The Bible.
I initially thought this was an illustrated bible, but I see now that it is broken into thematic chapters and the stories of that passage are divided into stories. That makes it easier and quicker to grasp just as long as you are aware this is a storybook. It is thick and sturdy with good paper and good print quality. The artwork is brilliant and brave to do or just unique within religious art publications. I was drawn to it because the artwork is so strong, alluring and doesn't shy away from creating emotions via color and texture and form. I would love this company to do an illuminated bible with this illustrator. Anyway you can get it at any age and pour over the stories and pictures again and again.
For SMALL children.
I got this for an adult to go through t and get a quick, short survey of Scriptures to give them some depth in the more popular stories in both Old Testament and New Testament. But, it is written for the very young. The person told me the pictures were very pretty and easy to read. Yet the book shows that the reader is a small child and reads that way. For the young, it's a wonderful buy.
My kids love this!
I have a 3 and 5 year old and they adore this book! We read it every morning while they are eating breakfast. It’s not your typical bright and flashy colored kids book, but the photos are colorful and so detailed. The stories are written for kids to understand, I would still reference the Bible as the stories leave out some details, but the gist of everything is there! Very happy!
