This volume is maybe the best so far. Good spy action that tests Loid’s skills against Yuri. Yor tries to have a normal relationship with Loid, with her own notion of normal. It doesn’t go well. Anya’s mission of befriending Damian is heading to a new direction, but not exactly where she intends. Fun side stories and extras too. Annoying cliff-hanger ending though. The wait for the next volume is going to be excruciating.
Wow! What a dramatic novella! Yor tries to find gripes, and Twilight encounters an old compatriot who has turned against WISE. (Was deep undercover).
This is a great series and I can't wait to see the rest!
The only thing I can say bad about this manga it often has some slow parts, or maybe I'm impatient and I want the key story line to progress much quicker. Regardless the ending of this volume was top notch. Brutal cliffhanger. Brutal.
If you could SEE my face right now... This is the second volume in a row (do the rest of them do that? I can't remember) that it's ended in a very... intense kind of way. And I don't think I like it. I'm concerned though... I wanted the end of book 11 explained more, but instead I have even MORE unanswered questions.. Oh well, guess I'm off to wait some more.
So far I'm really enjoying this manga plus the anime is great to get an idea what their voices are like.
I absolutely LOVE the Spy x Family manga series. Each new volume is an instant pre-order for me and I'm really enjoying how the series is progressing. The "Mole Arc" is this volume is a great action arc for the series, but be warned it ends on a big cliffhanger! Thankfully, I keep up with the chapters as they are released with my Shonen Jump app and know what happens next (as well as much further ahead in the story). But even so, I enjoy re-reading past chapters whenever the volumes come out.
Our 15 year old daughter is very much into this series. Whenever a new book is released, we need to order it. She loves it.
