I bought this book for my 10year old son who is very interested in History, especially WWII. The day I received this book, he had already read half of it. He finished it the next day. He thoroughly enjoyed it. He reads these specific "I survived" books at school, so these are a favorite. He said that they are part "comic" style books, so they're entertaining, and then they also are a novel whilst telling true facts about the history of the war. I would highly recommend these to kids who are interested in our nations history without having to worry about any other "fluff".
My students love historical fiction and they really love the graphic novels for this series.
You know there’s plenty of good books out there but this one is astounding. Now my son is a fan of I survived but I’m not so I was spectacle of reading it but man was its good
Kids, parents, and teachers all love these books! Great series. Highly recommend!
Mi hijo de 9 años disfruta mucho este tipo de libros
My son absolutely loves this series. I used this particular book as a bribe for some school work. Well it worked, and he read the entire book in a day. These are great for getting a fictional but based on real live events perspective that engages boys from 8-11+ I'd say in a book, albeit a graphic novel, but it is still reading. I would say they can have some violent themes (I'm mean it is about World War II- this particular book), so be wary of that if that is something you are wanting to limit.
