I went back to re-read the first two volumes before savoring this new one, and it was totally worth it. The artwork is sublime. I can tell who’s talking 99.99% of the time. Atlas is just too cute! (When he’s not being intimidating as hell.) I love Saki’s attitude. She’s so indomitable. The supporting characters are great, too, as they give more perspectives on what’s happening in the world. Speaking of which, this volume explores the idea that the discrimination goes both ways. (Hmmmm. Nice touch.) The volumes keep ending on cliffhangers, which is a teensy bit annoying, but it’s also obvious that Atlas will swoop in to be the hero, so I’m not really worried. ;p This Volume posted into my account…less than 4 hours ago and I already want to know when I can expect the sequel. Gimme! ;-)
