Adorable book for a preschooler
I recently realized that somewhere along my journey to adulthood, my childhood copy of this book had been lost. To rectify this, I purchased this Hardcover edition. It is an extremely high-quality library binding. It comes with a lovely dust cover and the actual cover is printed in equally high-quality illustrations, which I appreciate as many hardcover books rely on the dust cover to provide the cover illustrations, leaving the actual binding looking a little nondescript. The pages are thick, small hand friendly, and plastic coated paper so that the bright artwork really pops. It's a substantial upgrade to the copy I had as a child! I'm sure should I ever have the opportunity to have kids of my own, we will have a lot of fun with this book just as I did with my own mom.
A classic book to read to young children and later let them go through it on their own.
